Refrigeration and Air Conditioning products may be one of the largest whole costs which you outlay for your business. For this reason, it is extremely important that you buy the most suitable product for your shop. Some companies will leave it up to you to choose the equipment you order and offer no support if it then turns out that the unit isn’t appropriate for your needs. This may be as simple as going through the door of your shop through to the specific sizing and capacity of an Air Conditioning unit in relation to the other pieces of equipment in your shop.
Cost - Prestige aim to make the purchase of your new equipment as easy as possible. This involves arranging cost effective finance, tax benefits, carbon trust loans and competitive pricing structures.
Value - Sometimes spending more will cost less in the long-term as the equipment will last longer and run more cost-effectively. Alternatively, a more economically priced unit may fit your needs perfectly over a more expensive one. The sales team will always recommend what they think will provide the best value to you.
Suitability - The product must meet your merchandising requirements and function within the environmental constraints of your shop. These include stock requirements, internal and external temperature, power supply, access to outside and planning permission constraints.
Sizing - The product must both fit into your shop but also display as much stock as you would need it to.
The sales team will consider all of the above when they enter the shop and using their many years of experience you can trust that they will do their best to meet your needs within these considerations. For more complex installations and to ensure that none of the more technical considerations are missed, we also arrange for one of our engineers to do a full site survey before your installation date. This ensures that you can be confident that the installation will go without a flaw and that there are not going to be any technical difficulties. This saves both you and us time and money and is what differentiates us from some other refrigeration companies.
Once your equipment is available and the finance is in place, we will get in touch to confirm the installation date. Our experienced installation staff will visit your property on this date and their great experience of many installations means that they aim to complete the installation with as little disruption as possible. We have completed large and complex installation in fully open shops and closing your store is always avoided. When the installation is complete, one of the engineers present should give you an explanation of how to use your equipment (this is usually sufficient, there is generally no need for an installation manual!) and ensure the site is clean and safe before asking you to sign an acceptance form.
